Green Goddess Avocado Dressing

Avocado is a great ingredient to create a creamy sauce or dressing without using saturated fat sources Both the avocado and walnuts provide heart-healthy fats such as omega-3 fatty acids


Green Goddess Avocado Dressing

  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1 cup packed spinach leaves
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives or scallions 1/4 cup fresh basil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh mint
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth Chill until ready to use
