In a medium bowl, combine the ground chicken, garlic, parmesan, oregano, onion powder, ¼ cup of the marinara, salt and pepper. Shape into 4 patties.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties until browned on each side (about 4-5 minutes per side). Top with a mozzarella slice and cover with lid until cheese is melted, about 2 minutes more.
While patties are cooking, heat remaining marinara in the microwave or on stovetop. Toast buns if desired.
Spoon desired amount of marinara on bottom of bun, top with arugula, place chicken burger on top and spoon more marinara over burger. Add basil if desired and burger bun tops. Enjoy!
